MC-10NI-NPLT
Mounting Configurations: Due to the asymmetrical design of the inking system on the Non-Porous Mini-Coders, these coders must be ordered for the specific mounting configuration required and are not field convertible. Mounting configurations are determined by viewing the production line with the product moving away from you.
Non-Indexing Models are used for printing on continuous web materials or long sheet stock. In these applications, the print drum always remains in contact with the material being printed and the code information is printed at an interval equal to the print drum circumference (9.1″).

Indexing Models are used to print on varnished cartons or other individual products which are typically being transported on a conveyor. In these applications, as the print drum disengages from the trailing end of the product, a spring mechanism returns the print drum to the index position. This results in the code being printed on each carton in the same registered position relative to the leading edge.
